So your answer to opening the door for discussion with people is to delete comments made by the other side? I saw Abe’s comment before you deleted it and there was absolutely nothing wrong with what he had said. And you wonder why people are getting angry?

Never mind, comment was not there when I returned here. I will admit that was my bad, must be my phone so please disregard my previous post

We happened to upgrade our server today, we’re checking to see what was lost in the transition. Since Abe’s comments were FB comments, they should be around here somewhere.

You seem to be mentioning a lot of attacks against people without offering any evidence of these attacks. A lot of comic book creators have been doing that lately. Also, you mentioned that “fans” are doxing creators. What about the creators that are doxing the fans. Calling for their harassment and mentioning how they want them to be attacked. Most of the attacking that I have personally seen is coming from the creator side, not the fan side. Anyone that offers criticism (sometimes not in the best way admittedly), seems to be automatically labelled as an attacker, transphobic, racist, etc. It would be nice to see a balanced report come out some time that shows all sides of this issue and not just those against the fans.

I like a lot of other fans are just tired of Marvel comics becoming a talking point propaganda piece for every left wing activist cause out there. We have invested years even decades following and supporting the characters and to see the work used to promote a political agenda is heavy handed at best. Just get back to basics and fundamentals that made these the quality products they once were. Or you will see your sales continue to plummet.

I forgot to mention – fans are also tired of all the crazy gimmick events that go across multiple titles. It’s ridiculous. We already had Civil War, Secret Invasion, A vs X, Civil War 2, House of M, and now Secret Empire. It has gotten out of hand. Between these and the crazy variant covers it makes a lot of us think we are not seen as respected consumers but are a field of cash cows to be milked anytime Marcel’s board of directors deems it needed to boost the quarterly financials.

I thought “SJW” stood for “SINGLE JEWISH WOMAN.”

Just trying to throw in a bit of humor here.
