Charlie Day is by far my favorite character. Although I do love all of the gang, Charlie has his own way of making me laugh. It’s the combination of his voice, the fact that he’s the “underdog” always doing “Charlie work” and his complete loyalty, although sometimes creepy (his obsession with the waitress) it is sweet. And put it all together you get one great character.

  2. Definitely Charlie. He’s insane, he’s stupid, but he has a heart of gold and a childlike sense of wonder that can’t be diminished. Even when he’s doing something the rest of us know is wrong or dangerous, Charlie just trucks along without a care in the world. He’s also the only character who is in no way malicious (even though some of the things he’s done have unintentionally been) unlike the rest of those jerks.

I love the whole gang, but Charlie is my favourite. He’s the most likeable one of the bunch. Also, I love that he’s so talented in some ways (“I get keyboards”), and so hopeless in others (Charlie-work, reading, etc).

Charlie–the most soft hearted, bullied, open and genuine of the gang. He’s got a lot of geek qualities, but the worst streak of lousy luck you can imagine! Plus he has Bobcat Golthwait’s voice down pat!

When I first started watching, it was Charlie, by a lot.

But the deeper I begin to appreciate the show, the more I enjoy MAC’s character, and I think he might actually be my favorite out of the bunch.

Dennis is the most diabolical, but I think he’s not as funny as the other characters.

Dee is hilarious, but only as a supporting character – I especially like it when she and Charlie team up.

Frank is great, and a huge key to the show’s success but I don’t consider him part of the gang, really – more of a supporting character type.
