What? Nothing from the Peter David run?

Yes I too found the lack of Peter David to be highly illogical.

Not this time :)

The list isn't meant to be "the best," but rather a quick-hits list, and (hopefully) a bit of an entry point for Trek fans looking to see what else is out there.

Well, I did notice the "one from each publisher or period" aspect of the list. But, still, given the number of excellent stories during David's run there certainly seemed SOMEthing in there that would get picked as a "must read". The story of Scotty's lost love from the Annual if nothing else.

And I would have traded every ounce of my overblown "miracle worker" reputation if I could have performed just one true miracle. Still makes me *choke*.

I found the DC Trek Annual #1 to be a better "first mission" than Vonda McIntyre's novel Enterprise.
