Worth noting that at least some copies of this book have an error on page 53 omitting the May 3rd 1967 strip with a duplicate of the May 1st strip in it's place. They'll presumably run the missed strip in a later volume but it's worth checking before you buy to see if there are corrected second printings available.

Actually, Patty (the original Patty) graced the cover of the 1959-1960 Complete Peanuts.Rick

The least expensive way to get these volume that I've found is to get the two volume sets that come out later in the year. They run for a list price ($50) that is less than twice the price of the single volumes ($29). Amazon usually has the volumes for about 34% off, some other places might be better.

Schultz was subtle. Seth is subtle. If you're going to offer baseless political commentary, follow their leads.

Honey, those kids are still complaining about race and race mixing. And they are getting louder about it. I wish people would stop acting like racism is gone and the only problems now are gay marriage. Lets not throw one issue under the bus for another.
