Thumbs down to Deadpool Corps. Nothing but fanwank to soak some more money out of the “I’ll buy anything with Deadpool in it” sheep.

Deadpool Team-Up is one of the most consistently fun reads I’ve come across in recent years. Not just funny “ha-ha”, but genuinely fun and enjoyable to read.

Deadpool Team Up. Most of the issues have been terrible. Bad art, lousy writing on most issues. The few decent issues have been too far between. I’m surprised Marvel hasn’t already cancelled that garbage.Deadpool Corps is an odd title, and I doubt it’ll last much longer, but I do kind of enjoy it.

Boy, i am so out of the Marvel stream – while i haven’t been next or nigh a comic shop for a couple years (nearest is twenty+ miles away and gas ain’t cheap … nor are comics), i don’t think i had ever read anything with Deadpool in it.

Or if i did, it completely dropped out of my memory, perhaps being Too Horrible To Endure. (A thought that the “Ambush Bug with guns” image tends to reinforce…)

Rob Liefeld has reported that Deadpool Corps was always intended to be a 12-issue mini-series. Marvel may be using the fake poll as extra publicity for the Deadpool titles.

Don’t fans already always decide which titles should be canceled? Y’know, with their wallets?

All this is is Marvel saying “We’ve got two book doing poorly enough we’re ready to cancel them. You tell us which to cancel first.”
