With the game, "Rock Band", you can download new songs at least for the XBox360 and Playstation 3 versions of the game! Now, I checked what songs are available for download here: http://www.rockband.com/music/songsFrom that list, I would say that the songs that most qualify as "Comic Book Songs" are:Heroes, by David Bowie. No direct comics references, except maybe to Aquaman. Still, I would put this on any anthology of Comic Book Rock Songs. And Skullcrusher Mountain, by Jonathan Coulton. Again, no direct comics references here, but the theme and situation in the song should be familiar to anyone who has read comics.

Maybe Joker and the Thief, by WolfmotherBut, if you are making a general list of comic book inspired songs you want to play on Rock Band, I would include:Flash, by QueenSunshine Superman, by DonovanSuperman's Song, by Crash Test DummiesMagneto and Titanium Man, by Paul McCartney and Wingsand Superman (It's Not Easy), by Five For Fighting

Just played Skullcrusher Mountain this weekend. It is indeed a worthy addition to Guitar Hero ComicMix edition.

Rock On! I think Jonothan Coulton is Ultra-Cool! If you like Skullcrusher Mountain, check out "Still Alive." This song was the closing theme music to the computer game, "Portal." It is written from the point of view of the Artificial Inteligence GLaDOS. I've heard the game is good, but I have never played it. "Still Alive" nearly qualifies as a "Comic Book-ish" song. (We'll have to wait for the graphic novel adaptation of "Portal.") It certainly qualifies as a ComicMix type song! I think Portal and Still Alive answer the burning question, "What if Scott Free's Motherbox was secretly EVIL?"
