"an elder Hulk and Clint Barton’s son, Francis"

For a second, I thought that you meant Hulk and Clint had a son together. :-)

Weak voice work and "borderline puerile" deserves a rating of 8 out of 10? This looks like grade inflation. Are we grading on a curve? This was better than stuff that is even more crappy. That's not really saying that it's good. Once you strip away your need for a clever plot, craftsmanship in writing, acting or animation and get down to a childlike mindset lacking critical judgment, this is still only just OK.

If my daughters beg me to rent this for a dollar from the Redbox in McDonald's, I might. But you'd still have to pay me to watch it.

You liked it a lot more than us. While we liked the way they called them "the knight" and "the pixie" and the like, that was about it. Thor and Stark could have been handled batter for sure. The kids were bratty and whiny.

We like a lot of kids animation because it is filled with good guys and bad guys and you can sit back and enjoy the fun. However we had a hard time doing that in this case.

We felt as though they crushed on the originals for no other reason than to launch these juvenile wanna-bes.

Anyway, here is our take on it with lots of pics and a few bits if wit if you are interested:
