The Hundred Acre Deadwood
Call it a hunch, but I don’t think this will be showing up on HBO Family any time soon. From Cracked magazine, pulled from the first issue.
If you’re at all familar with Deadwood, then you know it’s obviously not safe for work.
Or for kids.
Or possibly for your spouse.
Or Disney.
I mean, geez, this is some twisted stuff here — this is about the only un-profane panel I could find to post.
I've watched Deadwood for a few minutes at a time, never a full episode. I can't take it. The writers force so much swearing into the dialogue that it doesn't sound natural at all, it just comes off as contrived. Like they have a curse-word quota. That's the first thing that occurred to me when I read this spoof.
The first 2 seasons of Deadwood were artistic brilliance. Winnie the Pooh is classic entertainment. It's entirely UNNATURAL they should meet. But this was funny. Perhaps this is an internet happening that will continue to grow. The Shield meets Spongebob. The Wire meets Hannah Montana.
