"Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes" not only introduced Christopher Lambert, it also introduced Andie MacDowell. Interestingly, Andie MacDowell's voice was dubbed by Glen Close in one of her first movie roles too!

As long as Brendan Fraser comes nowhere near this production, I'm game.

Greystoke is the closest adaptation of "Tarzan of the Apes" to date.
Hopefully Warner won't produce mental pablum, but something closer to the books.
After seeing the treatment comics are currently getting on screen, I'm hopeful that Tarzan will be equally respected.

I can't believe no one mentioned the Bo Derek flick "Tarzan The Ape Man". Isn't that at the top of everyone's list of ERB adaptations?!? bwah-ha-hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
