Make sure you check out the second part next week, Russ! While I usually avoid breaking features into several parts (since this is the Internet and there aren't page-count restrictions), this one was so long and covered so many topics that it seemed worth making an exception. I really enjoyed editing Part Two, and I'm just about to start on Part Three today.

Good stuff, all of it.

You could have broken today's part one into three parts!

"WW: No. I'm way more interested in working on my own original stuff. And there's a finite number of time/energy/creative units that I can gather on my "collect resources" turn. I would rather put those into building my own story than into repairing the Wesley Crusher building."

Wil, you are *such* a geek... :-)

Yeah, that was one of those quotes I read and then started chuckling to myself... My girlfriend asked what I was laughing about it, and I had to tell her that she was better off not knowing the jokes I *get* on a daily basis.

Great interview. I picked up on Wil's blog about a year ago, and it's must reading for me now. ha, "repair the Wesly Crusher building", ha! Doesn't THAT conjure up bizarre images?

Damn that's long. Too tired to read the whole thing tonight, but I'll be back.

Thanks to Chris and ComicMix.
