I read about this. An "inside source" did say "There is no truth to anything related to a movie sequel. Not a chance by a longshot. With regards to the comics, well, I guess anything is possible." So, the good news is no movie sequel. The bad news is maybe a comic sequel. Now, the obvious next step would be to make a movie of the sequel, but at least they won't make a movie without a comic to back it up. However, I'm not in favor of any of that.

I'm sorry, Glenn, but the world needs "Watchmen Babies." Really, it does. :)
