Great stuff. Bob's singing is a lullaby is great plot twist/device. Really cool. The last panel is poster worthy! This has been one of the best comics here on ComicMix (and that is saying a lot). It has easily been my most anticipated read of the week for several months now.
Thank you to John, Tim, John, Lovern and Mike for putting such an exciting, clever, fun, thrill-ride of a comic here on ComicMix. I would love to see more GrimJack on ComicMix. If that's Flint Henry with Jim Twilley, Tom Mandrake with St. John or Tim Truman with John Gaunt, it makes no never-mind to me. I want more GJ.
I would like to see a GrimJack/Man-Thing CROSSOVER! Think about it. They are both guardians of the Nexus of All Realities! What if Man-Thing is possibly a hideous incarnation of the GrimJack curse?
Cynosure is just the perfect crossover playground in all of comics.
I know John Ostrander already has big plans for another book on ComicMix. Could there be more than one? Again, thank you for a truly remarkable comic! I LOVED it!

SO worth the wait. Want a dead-tree edition of this, in addition to what Russ said above.

Ah! the puzzle is now complete, & I'm no longer confused about everything (well... maybe less confused about this thing). Many years ago, before marriage, children, mortgages, and the like, I remember reading the d.t. comics. In it John has an affection (in his way,at least) for Bob.
It's great to find out where it all started.
Am I correct in assuming, that, what we'll be seeing here, will be a story arc set BEFORE the d.t. comics? (And maybe, including those issues?)
Keep up with the good....no, keep up with the GREAT work!
(We won't be seeing Dynamo Joe anytime soon will we?)

A terrific ending to a spectacular series.
I wish Mr. Truman the best of luck with Conan the Cimmerian, although, I EXPECT the next series he draws will be the third part of the SCOUT series. No if, and, or, buts!!!
Otherwise, I might have to dig out my old .22 rifle and do some Truman hunting. ;-)

Really great work. Seriously, the last 2 Grimjack comics have been top notch stuff. Tim and John are in the zone! Really hope to buy this off the shelf sometime soon. Even with all the ups and downs the web comic has been a great experience. thanks for the ride!

A nice ending! I had heard awhile back that they were doing this (from a newsaram interview with John), but hadn't heard of anything since. After not visiting the official Grimjack site in quite some time, I checked back to discover ComicsMix and that The Manx Cat was running!
Shocked, but pleasantly so. I came in late, but got easily caught up and devoured every page.
As with the other, I do hope there will someday be a printed version to "complete" the entirety of my Grimjack collection.
May there be more to come!

great story, beautifull art, i own 3 pages, would like to add last page. profile of grimjack on page 149 reminded me of the Shadow. might be a nice next story, The Shadow, written and illustrated by Tim Truman. hope that there will soon be a tangible version of story, so i can get Tim and maybe even John to sign it ,if John ever does a show in the Pittsburgh PA area. kepp your powder dry and your edges sharp, till the next interesting encounter, peace

Wow! Thanks. That was a great run and a nice conclusion to the story. I'll have to read it from the top again sometime. Well done.

I just read this note at the end of John Ostrander's column this week, "Experiencing Grief:" John Ostrander writes GrimJack (yep, there’ll be another one starting around 2009)
I just wanted to express a "YIPEE," knowing that we will see MORE GrimJack coming soon, but "Experiencing Grief" wasn't the forum for squeals of glee.

I was wondering... What's in store for GrimJack from now on?
- Is there gonna be a dead tree version of the Manx Cat? (Count me in as a buyer if so!)
- Is IDW ever going to finish reprinting back issues?
- Are there plans to reprint other stuff (a Munden's Bar anthology would be nice.)
By the way, I found the last missing issues of GrimJack I was looking for... This concludes a quest I began in 1985. I'm elated at this; I can finally read GJ from beginning to end. There are issues in the GrimJim run I haven't even read, or read once back when they came out and a friend lent them to me. Believe it or not, after 20 years, I still vividly remember GrimJack regaining his memories and shooting the coach in his truck.
