Luigi Novi

Luigi Novi is a writer, illustrator and photographer from New Jersey. His artwork was first published at age 13 in Toys R Us magazine. He majored in Media Arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, studying cartooning and visual storytelling under Carmine Infantino, Joe Orlando, Klaus Janson, Walt Simonson, Sam Viviano, John Ostrander and Denny O'Neil. His writing and artwork have been published by Image Comics, The Hudson Reporter and the James Randi Educational Foundation. His photographs have been published by CBS News, Daily Kos, MTV, the SyFy Channel, The Hollywood Reporter, Forbes magazine, and the U.S. State Department. His photos of comics creators in particular have been published by Bleeding Cool magazine, Back Issue magazine, and Comic Book Resources, and across countless articles on Wikipedia. His photography has also been published in books such as Marie Severin: The Mirthful Mistress of Comics by Dewey Cassell and Marie Severin, Debunking Holocaust Denial Theories by James Morcan and Lance Morcan, and I Am Gandhi: A Graphic Biography of a Hero by Brad Meltzer; and by paid clients including the New York Empire tennis club.
