Gotham’s Lunatic Final Season Comes to Disc in June

The final episodes of the hit DC/WBTV series lay the foundation for the city’s iconic future as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment gets set to release Gotham: The Complete Fifth and Final Season on Blu-ray and DVD for $29.98 / $24.98 SRP. Out on June 11, 2019, the new release includes DC Super-Villain-filled extras that explore the characters and world of the Dark Knight that fans have come to know and love.

Gotham: The Complete Series, which includes all five seasons of Gotham will also be available for fans to own June 11, 2019 on Blu-ray and DVD for $112.99 / 99.99 SRP.

The fifth and final season of Gotham wraps up the iconic series in an unforgettable event that focuses on Bruce Wayne’s ultimate transformation into the Caped Crusader, while Jim Gordon struggles to hold together a city on the edge of chaos. Following the epic events of season four, the Legend of the Dark Knight resumes as Gotham City is divided between Gordon’s GCPD jurisdiction and some of the city’s most notorious villains such as Penguin, The Riddler and more. As the city’s heroes try to gain control and salvage what’s left of the deteriorating city, it teeters between good and evil, even as new DC Super-Villains, including Bane are introduced.

Crime and Carnage does not pay!

Joshua A. Wiser, 33, is accused of walking into The Comic Vault, 1130 12th Avenue, on Feb. 7 with eight comic books he was trying to sell, including a collectible “Amazing Spider-Man” No. 361. According to Altoona police, the owner of the comic books discovered they were missing from his home and called the comic book store to alert the owner about the missing issues.

Amazing Spider-Man #361 is the first appearance of Carnage— is this what Trump was talking about in his inauguration speech?

It’s hard to believe that Walt Disney’s The Little Mermaid, credited with revitalizing the company’s animation arm, is turning 30. To celebrate the studio is re-releasing the film on February 26 as apart of their Bl-ray Signature series. They want you to be part of the party and have provided us with a copy of the Blu-ray disc to giveaway.

Nebula Award finalists announced; Black Panther, Spider-Verse nominated

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA, Inc.) has announced the nominees for the 54th Annual Nebula Awards, including the Ray Bradbury Award for Outstanding Dramatic Presentation, the Andre Norton Award for Outstanding Young Adult Science Fiction or Fantasy Book, and for the first time, the Nebula Award for Game Writing. The awards will be presented in Woodland Hills, CA at the Warner Center Marriott during a ceremony on the evening of May 18th.

Aquaman Home Video Details Wash Ashore

Burbank, CA, March 26 – The ocean comes alive when Aquaman arrives on 4K UHD Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD Special Edition and Digital. From Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, DC and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, Aquaman , starring Jason Momoa (Justice League, Frontier, Game of Thrones) in the title role.

Aquaman also stars Amber Heard (Justice League, Magic Mike XXL), Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe (Platoon, Spider-Man 2), Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring films, Watchmen), Dolph Lundgren (The Expendables films), Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (The Get Down), Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (The Hours, Lion), Ludi Lin (Power Rangers) and Temuera Morrison (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Green Lantern).

Wan directs from a screenplay by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring 2) and Will Beall (Gangster Squad, Training Day). The story is by Geoff Johns, Wan and Will Beall, based on characters from DC’s Aquaman created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger.  Aquaman is produced by Peter Safran and Rob Cowan, with Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Jon Berg, Geoff Johns and Walter Hamada serving as executive producers.

Wan’s behind the scenes team includes Oscar-nominated director of photography Don Burgess (“The Conjuring 2,” “Forrest Gump”), five-time editor Kirk Morri (“The Conjuring” films, “Furious 7,” the “Insidious” films) and production designer Bill Brzeski (“Furious 7”). All versions of Aquaman”will include a three minute sneak preview of Shazam, the upcoming live action feature film starring Zachary Levi as the DC Super Hero. The film will be released in theaters on April 5, 2019.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc of Aquaman will feature Dolby VisionTM HDR that dramatically expands the color palette and contrast range and uses dynamic metadata to automatically optimize the picture for every screen, frame by frame. The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc of Aquaman will also feature a Dolby Atmos® soundtrack remixed specifically for the home theater environment to place and move audio anywhere in the room, including overhead. SYNOPSIS

The Atlantean child Orin, son to the Queen of Atlantis (Nicole Kidman), was abandoned as an infant and left to die; however, he was rescued and raised by a kindly lighthouse keeper. The keeper (Temuera Morrison) adopted the boy as his own son, renaming him Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa). Able to survive the harshest depths of the ocean and on the surface world above, the child of two worlds grew to be a hero to both eventually returning to Atlantis to become their King in addition to being a founding member of the Justice League as Aquaman!
