  1. Mindy Newell says:

Hey, John! Merry Christmas to you and Mary and all your family!

I have to disagree with you on David Tennant’s bow–I thought THE END OF TIME was beautifully written and easy to follow–though I still wonder who “that” woman was who kept appearing to Wilfred, Donna’s grandfather. (Discussed it recently with our editor, Mike Gold while watching it on the BBCAmerica DR. WHO binge which leads up to tonight’s special–the implication is that she is somehow tied to the Doctor on a more personal basis [his mother?])

Feeling trepidatious about tonight’s episode…feeling like the BBC gave Moffat an order: “We need the kids back!!! (Esplanation: most left after Matt Smith did) Superheroes are hot. Put a superhero in the show!”

    But we’ll see.

Agree with you about River’s Christmas special. (Remember when Alex Kingston was on ER?)
