    Arthur, there’s an article in the NEW YORK TIMES about the movie–the director did a tremendous amount of research–for instance, he built the farmhouse and the rest of the building of the farm in the exact manner that was used in that time period. As on OUTLANDER, all the clothes were made from the same materials used in the late Elizabethean and early Stewart eras…it’s a very interesting article. I’ll find the link and post it here for you.

    As for the Blair Witch Project–YAWN! I never got what was scary about that movie.

    THE WITCH won an award at the Sundance Film Festival and it was the movie on everybody’s lips. From how you describe it and from the “out of nowhere” accolades it’s getting, it’s reminding me of another scary movie with no “horror flick” moments:

    THE SIXtH SENSE.
