Potter was played by the brilliant John Barrymore.

This seems a good time to say that one of my all-time favorite Christmas comic stories is “All I Want For Christmas is the Head of Idi Amin” that you wrote with Del Close for DC’s WASTELAND anthology way back when. So thanks for that story, and this column, and a whole lot of everything else.

Lionel Barrymore was absolutely brilliant as Potter!

And his brilliance as an actor really shines when you watch him in YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU, in which he plays the exact opposite type of character than Potter.
