Okay, Marc, I’ll tell you about buying STAR WARS merchandise.

I bought Alix a “gen-you-ine” Luke Skywalker Rebels commando jacket, “JUST LIKE TH ONE MARK HAMILL WORE IN ‘THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK'”–as the ad said in Starlog Magazine, which was where I saw it for sale (and this was a good 5 years before I met Bob Greenberger))–because I secretly wanted on. And actually, it was a very good jacket, essentially a motorcycle jacket in cloth, which, being a smart mommy, I bought a couple of sizes too big for Alix so she could wear it for a few years. AND SHE DID!

I also bought Alix a “to-scale” model of the Millennium Falcon–waaaay before she was old enough to appreciate it! And of course, I really bought it for me!
