I didn’t ever meet Don Thompson, but All in Color for a Dime changed my life too. Reading of his passing in CBG was painful, and his insight is definitely missed. Thanks for sharing your memories, and know you are not alone.

    • Thanks Scott,

Funny I’m like a little girl when it come to people and my emotions. Otherwise I’m a lovable teddy bear, no shit business man OR a stone cold thug (I’ve been called and by a Sony VP, behind my back, who tried to punk me at last’s years Comic Con) it depends on the situation. Today, I had to be a mix of the no shit business and thug guy.

I was doing pretty well until I read your post.

THEN, you had to go and mention, albeit unintentionally, the title of one of ONLY TWO songs that make me sob like my puppy just died.

Michael Jackson’s ‘You are not alone’ and Frank Sinatra’s ‘One for my baby’ just KILL me!!

      THANK YOU VERY MU…WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I never knew Don and, unfortunately, my neighborhood comic shop didn’t carry CBG when I was a kid. But this was a beautiful remembrance, Michael. Truly moving. Thanks for sharing your feelings with us in such a genuine way. It’s funny how the people who love us the most can be our toughest critics… as they should be, since they know what we’re capable of. It’s a gift to have people in your life who respect your spirit enough and care enough to be real with you.
