Martha Thomases

Martha Thomases brought more comics to the attention of more people than anyone else in the industry. Her work promoting The Death of Superman made an entire nation share in the tragedy of one of our most iconic American heroes. As a freelance journalist, she has been published in the Village Voice, High Times, Spy, the National Lampoon, Metropolitan Home, and more. For Marvel comics she created the series Dakota North. Martha worked as a researcher and assistant for the author Norman Mailer on several of his books, including the Pulitzer-Prize-winning Executioner's Song, On Women and Their Elegance, Ancient Evenings, and Harlot's Ghost.

“I would say we can all agree that’s a good thing, but, it’s the Internet. I don’t think we can all agree it’s Friday.”

As I type this, it is Saturday in Tokyo.

Oh hell. Right. The date line. I didn’t even think of that. Martha is not only destroying people perception of time she’s undermining their understanding of geography. This article is a demonstration of both a temporal and latitudinal bias that is tearing society apart.

I am deeply offended by your Germanic bias by calling today Friday aka Frigg-day. You lack empathy for other mythological traditions. Not to mention your pro-Babylonian stance of using a 7 day week. I suppose we are just to supposed to forget the atrocities committed by the First Amorite Babylonian Dynasty during the rebellion against the Akkadian Empire that lead to their rise to power. It’s people like you with your revisionist history that make me sick.

Still I could probably overlook all this if it wasn’t for the fact that you completely overlooked the fact that people could be reading this article on a different day than the day you published it. Um, Duh Duh Duh. Only an idiot wouldn’t realize the day change. It’s called the time space continuum, look it up. No wonder people have such short attention space with articles like undermining the continuity of time. Children are getting low scores in STEM because of you destroying their ability to pay attention in class.

What a stupid and biased article!

I’m just so tired of it all.
