What do you think of the conjecture that Perkins and Gus are one and the same?

I didn’t want to face going through a period of adjustment when Peter Capaldi took over. Chris Ecclston is my favourite of the modern dr’s but I though Matt Smith brought something completely new that we have never see in dr who.. Youth.. real youth. H
aving said that I was surprised during the first episode deep breath that there was NO period of adjustment for me.
God forgive me, after 10 mins I had totally forgotten about Matt Smith to such a degree that I was actually disappointed when his face popped on screen (maybe just his voice on the phone would have done)

Every episode after that I have loved until Kill the moon where the ending was a real cop-out. I was also left feeling a little sad that the relationship was breaking up in such a bitter way and thought “this is not quite working anymore”.
Then came “Mummy” & I realised I’m not as cleaver as I think I am.. this series is playing with us and is not at all as obvious as it first seemed.

I think Capaldi is an absolutely fantastic choice for the Doctor and I think maybe that the personality change, which makes me feel so uncomfortable is actually the very reason I am enjoying it so much. It would have been very easy for him to have been a baddy for a couple of weeks and then mellow out to become something recognisable to us as the doctor but no, we are having to work for our breakfast with this one and by god, it’s starting to get very, interesting…. STILL THINK IT’S TIME STEVEN MOFFETT HANDED OVER TO A FRESH PAIR OF EYES AND EARS THOUGH..!
