I think you’re making a mistake. I’m utterly convinced Anderson imagined that interaction.

While a Lot (Well, limit as n approaches 1 for n/1 ) of fans were livid that they didn’t reveal every secret to The Fall, I rather loved it. Moffat and Gatiss swore blind that they didn’t read the fan reaction and Clever Theories during the two-year break, but considering that SO many of them showed up in the show (The hashtag campaigns, the “Not Dead” meme, so many facets of the secret behind the fall) it means either they’re lying, or if you give a mass of really intelligent people enough time, they can solve any puzzle as well as Sherlock. Or at least as well as Moffat and Gatiss.

It comes back to the McGuffin – it’s not really important what the thing everyone’s chasing is, just that it exists.

There are a great deal more Who-parallels in the earlier series as well – they both used the phrase “It’s Christmas” to describe a really great and dangerous puzzle, There’s more than a few others.

Whether or not you liked the twist they chose to give to Mary, You have to just stand and applaud the staggering acting of Martin Freeman. He says more with silent facial gestures than generations of actors.

  2. All 77 million users worldwide are at risk of identity theft due
to this breach, and Sony should pick up the tab for credit monitoring services for
all the users for at least the next two years. So, viewing
at home is a draw – both services are provided on all
of the major platforms. There is still the free-aim feature,
but the new lock-on feature will surely improve your accuracy.

  3. I really hate it when people are so critical of something that is pure entertainment. I love these two guys, I’m glad Moriarty may be back , Mary is a delight and I for one believe she can be ex intelligence. Do you people not just sit and watch a program for what it is instead of analyzing every last thing and ruining it !!! Get a life!
