  1. As soon as I heard you get all the PPYs for free with the subscription, I was all in. I’m assuming that he gets a small enough piece of the PPV money from the cable companies that charging ten that goes directly into his pocket works out as being in his favor. Plus, it’ll be people like me that weren’t buying the PPVs anymore, so it’s money

    I can’t imagine the cable companies are happy about the move, tho. I’m hoping it’s not that you get it after the event or something, as opposed to live, something to keep the cable companies happy.

    That’s a similarity to the comics industry – one of the reasons people feared digital comics wouldn’t be a go is that the comics companies cared too much about the local shops to directly compete with them. The only difference is that the digital comics charge the same as the floppies – If they discounted, removing only the cost of printing, you’d see a lot more people moving over to all digital.
