Not a particularly good episode – it felt like the episode was mumbling, where even when they’re audibly quiet, good episodes of Dr Who are shouting, if you get my metaphor.

The most interesting thing about Clara for me is the way the, in the Christmas special, that she seemed to be two different people – that is, the barmaid and the governess did not appear to be the same person, even though they lived in the same body. At first, i thought that, perhaps, she was some sort of detective and both personae were part of some sort of undercover operation, but then i realised that they were both simply Clara – but that they were two different Claras…

    • It’s hard to say, like with Superman, whether the barmaid was the secret identity, or the governess. Hopefully we shall see more.

The thing is, i didn’t get that vibe off the setup – as i say, it’s as if they were two completely different people who just happened to have the same body.

Like twins separated at birth – but combined, instead of separated…

Incidentally, could we perhaps manage to post the column-head pic in its correct aspect ratio?

It is in its correct aspect ratio. Get a decent browser.

It wasn’t when i looked before.

I use Opera which is almost certainly superior to whatever you use.

        Get a decent brain.

        Jerk.
