I’m sure Tim Allen could play Jewish. Sort of. Or Maybe Richard Lewis would be better.

“Or we could get Seth McFarlane interested and take it over to Fox. He’d animate it.”

John, I don’t know when you wrote this but what you described was basically the “Family Guy” episode that aired Sunday the 23rd (and was *supposed* to have aired last week except–for some reason–it was pulled following the Newtown incident; I didn’t see anything particularly that connected to Newtown–it IS a matter of the Biblical narrative that Herod killed a lot of kids while looking for the “newborn king” but whatever).

The story played pretty much the same way that “Family Guy” has “retold” the various Star Wars films.

“I am the great and powerful Jehovah, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.”. Brings back Sweet Memories from “Jesus of Oz” by J. Ostrander et. al. circa the mid 1980’s ;). Now everybody sing: “We’re off to see the Messiah, the wonderful Jesus of Oz.”. Casting?

    Much love to you John,
