    I love stories.

But I like stories that acknowledge that, depending on the point of view, can have different main characters. For example, what would HARRY POTTER be like if Hermione was the lead? Or Ron? Or (this could be cool) Snapes?

Which is why Akin made me so mad. And why I wrote this: http://mdwp.malibulist.com/2012/08/over-my-dead-b

You’ll notice, in the comments, that there are those who don’t think women are important enough to be the heroes of their own stories (and by that, I mean make their own decisions).

Hmmm. I wonder who Martha could possibly be referring to?
I do have to object, (without wanting to start that debate all over again here), to the idea that I “don’t think women are important enough to be the heroes of their own stories”. There are a lot of women who feel the same way I do, (more than men in fact), so they would have to be among those who don’t think women are important. The ones I know personally certainly don’t feel that way.
