Six Most Important Comics Stories From San Diego Comic-Con
2. IDW announces two more Parker graphic novel adaptations.
With the release of The Score at San Diego (and a few Eisner wins this year as well) we couldn’t be happier to learn that not only will a fourth Parker adaptation be published in late 2013, based on Donald Westlake’s Parker novel, The Mourner, but that Darwyn Cooke will be doing two more adaptations as soon as his schedule clears.
IDW’s Chris Ryall is hoping that they eventually do all 24 adaptations, but he’ll settle for six… for now.
(As an aside, I picked up the book on Preview night this year and devoured it that evening. It’s just as good as all the earlier works, and a joy to read.)
7. The New 52 was all just a horrible nightmare, and we’re all about to wake up.
