A quick FYI: There was a Guardians monthly series that ran in the 90’s for about two years or so, written and drawn by Jim Valentino before he leaped over to Image. Not sure if this was an oversight, but article made it sound like GOG never had their own book before this most recent version. Looking forward to the upcoming movie as these characters have always been a lot of fun!

    • Incorrect. It ran for 61 issues (that’s more than five years) in the 90s. Before that, they were the lead feature in the original Marvel Presents from issue #3 to issue #12 (the last issue) from ’76 to 77.

If you’re gonna nitpick….at least get it right :)

@ Brandon; I stand corrected on the length. Sorry, not trying to nitpick, or throw stones anywhere…

and then in 2008 there was a series that lasted 2 years but that only included Vance Astro from the original team but did contain appearances from the other members in various issues…personally i prefer the original team but i think a combination of the two teams is the only way to really keep people as happy as possible.
