Win a Copy of Wrath of the Titans Blu-ray Combo Pack
After last year’s success with the remake of Clash of the Titans, a sequel seemed inevitable. Now, Warner Home Video is releasing Wrath of the Titans, starring Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson on Tuesday, June 26. We have partnered with WHV to host a contest with one copy of the Blu-ray combo pack to be given away. Please note, we are not able to ship to PO Box addresses and winners must be within the United States.
A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kaken, Perseus (Worthington) the demigod son of Zeus (Neeson) is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades (Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus’ godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramrez), switch loyalties and make a deal, with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans’ strength grows stronger as Zeus’ remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon’s demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

To win, tell us about your favorite Greek god or goddess and why. Your post has to be received by 11:59 p.m., Saturday, June 30. The judgment of ComicMix will be final.
My favorite Greek God is Grey-Eyed Athena, because she reminds me of my wife.
My favourite Greek god is Apollo as the God of Music. Thank you Apollo for Hendrix, The Beatles, AC/DC, Metallica and everyone else!!! ;)
Hercules! originally aka (Heracles) is my favorite Greek god (well, demi-god, but STILL a god). Because he has the understanding of what it’s like to be part human, because he is half-human. And essentially was/is a hero to humanity in lore. He has great physical strength, something most people admire even in general terms. Thanks for having the giveaway! I appreciate the chance.
My favorite Greek goddess is Demeter. She was a strong female figure and mother. I love that when her daughter Persephone was taken away, her emotions effected the seasons. Her pain was felt by everyone. It made her more human in my eyes.
Second prize, two copies.
My favorite Greek god is Poseidon, because he not only has dominion over water, which covers approximately 70% of the Earth (pretty big territory), can communicate with not only the creatures in the ocean (which would come in pretty handy, because taking a dolphin sounds cheaper than the bus) but also horses (making him the best horseback rider of all time and probably also the most beloved). Adding to the list of awesome is his control over earthquakes, which is extremely cool and shows that he can rock a lot more than the boat. When you add in that awesome, shiny trident, Poseidon is the clearly coolest god.
My favorite Greek God?Goddess would have to be Hermes because he was most foxy of all the Olympian Gods. He was the messenger of the Gods, which is why he knew all their secrets. And we all know, knowledge is power! ;-)
My favorite Greek God is Theseus he was a heroic young villager who was chosen by the gods. And showed such passion for the people he loved.
Poseidon – I love the ocean and all the terrifying creatures and mysteries it has. He’s the God of THAT!
GAIA. She is the Goddess Mother of all. Heck, her children are the Titans, the heavenly gods, the Cyclopes and the Giants. That is one bad ass momma. Oh, and don’t f*ck with her, she has a wicked temper. ;D
^ Mother Earth (GAIA to some) sure did show that famous temper the other day. She knocked my power out for nearly 24 hrs.! I would call her a bitch but I fear what she might do to me. :D
My favorite Greek goddess is Athena, because she’s incredibly intelligent and can hide behind all sorts of disguises. Without her, Odysseus would have been pretty screwed.
Gaia – she IS Earth! She gave birth to the Titans for crying out loud!
Zeus was the most powerful god of all the Greek gods , the Father of Gods and men ,The ruler of all Olympians but yet he turned out to have a powerful feeling for his demi-god son Perseus ,but at the end he showed his humanity and Love when it mattered to both man kind and Perseus, we should practice the good deeds from this film because even the worst father can change
