    The only way I manged to make sense out of the time alterations in Flashpoint was to look at it this way:

    Nora Allen surviving didn’t cause the changes. Barry damaged the fabric of time when he saved her, and that damage is what changed history so drastically. (More thoughts on this, though they’re admittedly a few months old.)

    As far as shifting perspectives around from one universe to another, I’ve always been of the opinion that they shouldn’t need a big cosmic event to do so. In a case like that, it’s just moving the camera around.

    I’ll stick with Earth-1 and Earth-2. And isn’t Earth-Prime our earth?
