Great Idea on Superman ! Love it but seeing Static Shock is one of the six titles dropped and DC really have not been using Milestone apart from Static at all I think you would have no hope of getting this passed :(

  2. “Then look for all of them on the shelves today. Didn’t find ‘em?” Really-don’t they have comic book stores in the shire?

The Milestone books and or characters have been published or on TV in some form or another since they were created in 1992. Trade paperbacks, a hugely popular (and STILL on the air) animated show and a mainstream book-Black Superheroes, Milestone Comics and their fans written about the company.

Yeah-that’s right a mainstream book was written about the comic book company that changed the game. You should get one, here I’ll help you:

Oh-if you want the short version grab a copy of DC Comics: 60 years of the world’s Favorite Comic Book Heroes.

There’s a nice chapter on how Milestone changed the game.

OR-if you are in Baltimore anytime soon you can drop by the Geppi Entertainment Museum and see the Milestone books exhibited along with the rest of the characters that have changed the game.

I’m at a wee bit of a disadvantage-I’ve search bookstores, museums and television for the unshaven books but I can’t seem to find them so I can’t really respond to how you have changed the game…oh wait, I just did.

    Now about your DC reboot…no.

    D stands for Death Ray.

    • Oh Mickey, Mickey, Mickey…
Unshaven Comics is still quite young, and have plenty of time to change the game. But to be completely honest, we’re not in it to change it. We’re in it to find and make fans… entertain… and do so as long as we can.

When we visit Baltimore for the con this year, we’ll be sure to visit the museum, and pay homage. I still love the Static cartoon. Especially the episode with Shaq.

Over here in the shire, also known as Chicago, Milestone books are rare to find. I did buy the first volume of Icon though. It was in the half price bin. Quite a good deal for a very decent book.

      Stop the hate, won’t you?
