  1. John I'm a Star Wars fan, but I never really got into the expanded universe. To this day I really can't watch the Clone Wars either. But like we talked about over breakfast in Detroit, I thought the Clone Wars explanatoin for the oragin of the Force was crap.
I am looking forward to seeing what you do with this and will be picking it up come February

Just wanted to add to the plug-fest.

I was an unbeliever too. With the exception of speeder bikes, I’m not big fan of Star Wars or the EU (or broccoli). Sometimes it’s hard to get past names like Ki-Adi-Mundi or Plo Koon or all the various planets and sectors or quadrants or whatever. But I wanted so badly to read the latest Ostrander that it built up and I finally gave the first Legacy tpb a shot. Not only was it classic phenomenal Ostrander, but was also fairly new-reader friendly and took it easy on crazy names. I’ve since bought the 2nd and 3rd tpbs and after what happened in the 3rd I’m definitely going to find the rest.

Sometimes advertising works. I don’t follow Star Wars comics. Not because I have anything against them but one has to draw the line somewhere. I have a job and a family, and even if I could afford everything that piqued my interest I doubt I’d have time to read it all.

But Agent of the Empire sounded interesting, then it got a great review on CBR. A $3.50 comic is six bucks in Oz but I tried it and liked it. It’s James Bond of the Empire, with some new characters and some familiar faces. Broccoli doesn’t taste so bad when you coat it in cheese :-)
