  1. Well I'd take normal to not normal, John. But yeah, a Spider-Hulk Ostrander with a side of Flash and Steve Rogers wouldn't be bad.

Oh, and don't knock Malibu or the Ultraverse. I'll turn into the Hebrew Hammer and take you down to Chinatown for that. I LOVED the Malibu Ultraverse, and wish everyday they'd bring it back.

John, the day they cure overactive imaginations is the day I stop drawing comics. I too have those wild, wonderful thoughts whenever I go to the doctor.

After 8 heart caths, multiple echo-cardiograms if you got super-powers first I would be sad. Hope you get good news from the cardiologist.

No offense (which, once said, allows me – by law – to be offensive), but it sounds to me like you’re already a superhero…

Old-Man with all the wit and wisdom (not to mention powers and abilities) of sexagenarian. Thrill to the adventures of Old-Man, along with his kid sidekick Whippersnapper, as they keep the forces of evil at bay (and off his lawn)!

Seriously though, you are by far my favorite writer ever and you really are a hero to me.

And another thing, you want to talk let down…

I studied chemistry throughout high school and college at the expense of popularity and girls and artistry and girls and video games and girls in the hopes of one day attending a lecture about the effects of radiation on arachnids, or being the recipient of a chemical bath caused by fatefully discharged lightning. At the very least I’d learn how to make ultra-sticky webbing that was as strong as steel and could conveniently be put into little CO2 cartridges then fired with a thwip.

What I got was a degree in chemistry and a job…as a chemist.
