    Not Foxtrot? Interesting. Amend was the first cartoonist i recall getting a 9/11 strip up (11/24/01) – and one of the most touching.

    Hope somebody mentions that ten years later the economy and the culture is in the dumper. The fish rots from the head and for eight of those ten years we were run by the party of the rich, against the people. No job creation. Bogus “security” measures. Wars off the books. They’ll be talking about that, right? Right?

      No, they won’t. (Well, Mallard FIllmore will likely make a crashingly unfunny alle\ged joke about how it was all the liberals’ fault.)

      This is not a time for partisan axe-grinding.

      I happen to agree with you about what’s happened since 9/11. But i would never besmirch a memorial to the dead and the injured and the traumatised with partisan politics.
