The price point is the big obstacle in digital comics. It also would be nice to have some mechanism for people who buy the physical copy to have access to the digital version either for free or for a really low cost.

There are some people who have accumulated “vast amounts of stuff” who might want to start getting their comics in a digital version instead of the physical one just so they don’t have to store it anywhere in their dwelling. There is lots of ponder on this subject and so far I don’t think the industry as a whole has yet come up with the correct solution.

  2. We’ve discussed this at length on our podcast over on unshaven. We all agree: Day in date digital isn’t as important as price. Get the books out for $1, digitally. Add content to the printed piece not available digitally… OR release issues in trade only.

Same price-point as the physical book with only “virtual” ownership. You can’t download and read the book “everywhere and anywhere”.
