I’ve had that dream! But not with Comics and Paul Levitz. And I’m in my underwear. So, I guess it’s not this dream after all. Nice column though, Martha!

  2. Mindy Newell says:

What a great column, Martha!!!! And you know it’s a dream because Paul isn’t the one in charge anymore! As you know, of course!!!!

  3. Martha Thomases says:

@Mindy: None of my dreams ever happen in the present. I’m never living in my current apartment, for example, and often both my parents are there.

  4. Howard Cruse says:

Hey, are you back at ComicMix now? And what’s with the separate Facebook and non-Facebook comment chains?

  5. Martha Thomases says:

@Howard: beats me. Also, I don’t know where the Facebook comments show up on Facebook. I need to rent a teenager to explain things to me.

  6. I once called Paul Levitz at his house when I was 18. I asked him for a job at DC. He was cordial, and said he couldn’t give me one. Then he asked me how I got his number. “Well, there’s only so many P Levitz listings in the white pages of new york…” … “What’s your name again?”
