  1. I haven’t followed the FF since the late 80s, but with the way Marvel’s track record with renumbering has gone, I wouldn’t be surprised if the 600 shows back up the storyline Johnny Storm does.

  2. Wow… we’ve reached a milestone Mike. I’ve heard this story of yours before. Gasp. You couldn’t have run out!! :)

I actually JUST starting picking up FF with FF1, and have enjoyed it more than any equally priced DC title in the last several months. It was actually the cartoon shows that drew me into comics. It was that sense of wonder though, that drew me in as well. Kudos.

I guess I jumped on the bandwagon a bit late, since my first memory of buying FF was issue #2, which introduced the Skrulls to the Marvel Universe. I can’t even recall why I picked it up, since I was mostly buying DC books, and Dell books featuring Little Lulu and the Disney characters. Something caught my eye I guess and once I began reading, like Mike I was instantly hooked. Boy, these folks were nothing like the super-heroes at DC!

I think the last FF related book I bought was the Secret Invasion tie-in where the Baxter Building is sent to another dimension along with Johnny, Ben and the Richards children. Before that I think it was during one of She-Hulks stints with the group.

My first FF was #2, also.

    Huh? Marvel is ending FF?

Are John Boehmer and Eric Kantor in charge over there?????

They ended Fantastic Four, and then started FF. Seems they don\’t have the original four anymore…
