Frankly, $2000 doesn’t seem much if the company really does want to have the domain name. Besides there is always the possibility some deal could be made with the current owner for less.

To me it seems that First Comic News is the one pushing the line with their logo. of course, I’m not a lawyer by any means.

Or the current domain holder could now decide to jack up the price. The point is that it hasn\’t been locked down yet– and that\’s very surprising, considering there\’s no advantage to waiting.

  2. Holy shit, First Comics is back? My favorite indy publisher of all time? (Seriously, not just saying that because of the association with this site. I own every single thing First ever published and have read most of them many times. First had the highest percentage of teriffic books to publishing output of any publisher).

You have just made my day.

If Max Allen Collins and Joe Staton & Nic Cuti are involved, does this mean Ms. Tree and E-Man? Oh, please god, say it does!

  3. If I can get Jim Starlin and/or Peter David to do a new Dreadstar series I’m sold.
