  1. Marvel will go back to the original numbering as soon as it’s about to hit 600.

  2. What doesn’t make sense is that, even with its higher numbering, Uncanny X-Men still outsells both X-Men: Legacy and X-Men. So, why cancel the best-selling title? A new number 1 issue is only going to cause a minimal sales spike, and then the sales figures will be right back to where they were.
