    If he came out of the gestation matrix here on earth, wouldn’t he technically be “born” in the United States?

    Also, if Clark Kent renounces his citizenship at the same time, I will lose all respect for anyone who doesn’t figure out the secret identity.

  3. This whole thing is ginned up to get people to talk about citizenship. Superman was an illegal immigrant after all. He’s been lingering about without anyone questioning his status for decades. He doesn’t pay taxes, doesn’t vote, isn’t held accountable to any laws. Who cares if he gives up citizenship he never took advantage of and never really had to begin with.
