“When [Uther] reveals he is actually Morgana’s father, it’s done so badly; she overhears and has new cause to hate him. That Morgana (Katie McGrath) has powers does not seem to change his mind..”

These statements are incorrect on two points.

    1. Morgana does not overhear Uther and remains unaware of her parentage throughout season 2.
    2. Uther is unaware of Morgana’s magic.

    2. Uther does not know

This show has FOUR seasons? Wow. I watched one episode from what I believe was the first season on BBC America and I was aghast at the weak acting and writing.

Merlin is a FANTASTIC show and absolutely refreshing to watch compared to the garbage that’s on t.v. these days… for the record, the acting and writing are far, FAR from weak; in fact, they are phenomenal (Mr. Barrows should try watching more than one episode before making such claims, or maybe stick to watching Jersey Shore and leave those of us with a brain to watch Merlin in peace because clearly it’s over his head… the same goes for Mr. Greenbooger as well :o)

Not only is the writing and acting on point, the music is also superb and really adds to the beauty and mystique of the show. I get goosebumps just watching it sometimes! Basically what this all culminates to is the fact that, as a whole, Merlin truly is a highly entertaining and well-made show. And if you don’t believe me, you can check out the 8.0 rating it has on IMDB, or even better, watch the show for yourself and be your own judge. If you have an open mind and any sort of imagination at all, then I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
