Since i refuse to have anything to do with Apple's proprietary music system and cruddy software … who cares?

You must have cared at least a little bit, since you not only bothered to read a story (which you supposedly don't care about) but also post a comment about the story (again which you supposedly don't care about). Unless comicmix.com is your exclusive property mike, you might want to tone down the self-importance because OTHERS might actually care.

        (A) It was unnecessary to read the story; the headline is the story.(B) And, whether others care or not, "Who cares?" is a standard USAian idiom, which doesn't mean that i think no-one else cares, but that i couldn't care less.(C) And i signed my name to my comment. Who cares what an anaonymous sniper thinks?

Mike, With all due respect to you, I have to say I care. I took more than one ass kicking growing up because I was such a Beatles fan. Trust me being a Beatles fan in the hood was not an easy thing. I still love the Beatles and I'd be surprised if Apple had something I don't but I would like digital copies so I can give my albums and CD's a break. Regarding Steve Jobs, there's a bunch of stuff I'd like to light a fire under his ass about, however this is not one of them.

Oh, the Beatles are minor gods. I 100% agree. But i don't need Apple and their badly-conceived and -executed software/system to enjoy them; i can (and have) bought the CDs, which give me a lot more – at higher quality than what i'd get through iTunes.Jobs had almost redeemed himself for his past fecicranialisms with Pixar … but lately, he's off the rez again.
