I liked the movie, but didn’t love it. It felt betwixt and between; neither fast enough paced in its action, nor quite enough character development. I did think Malkovich stole the show, but it helped that he had by far the best opportunity to chew the scenery. And, to steal a line from _Saturday Night Live_, needs more Helen Mirren :-)

Overall, I’d say 3 1/2 or 3 3/4 out of 5, and a promising start to a series, if they actually make the next one.
