Belle wasn’t perfectly beautiful? Ms. O’Hara is a Broadway Star! She is herself perfectly lovely. I can see how anyone might feel intimidated, being compared to Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn. Those women are absolute, timeless icons of fashion, femininity and celebrity. But, Belle and Paige O’Hara are leagues away from being “Plain Janes.” They are both gorgeous. That one comment jumped out at me, like Ms. O’Hara has some kind of dysmorphia, an unnatural obsession with physical perfection or pathological misperception of her own attractiveness. I know, it’s a strange compliment that boils down to, “Are you freakin’ NUTS, you’re beautiful, Ms. O’Hara!”

“I was odd as a kid. I was into Gershwin.” – Excellent line! It all sums up me, but replace “Gershwin” with “John Lennon”.
