This is great, it really is. I hope it helps expose a wider audience to the work of these two masters.A note on their romance comics: A few years ago, I bought a copy of “The Best of Simon & Kirby Romance Comics” (published by Eclipse in the 80s) for my wife, who loves romance novels but has no interest in comics. It was a struggle getting her to actually read it, but once she did she was hooked. She had no idea comics like those even existed, and if they still did, who knows what additional areas the market could penetrate?

Okay, on the basis of one review (but a review from a person whose opinion I respect), I ordered the book. It arrived today.OMG, it’s HUGE, weighing in at almost two kilos and almost 500 pages, and worth every cent. It’s gonna take me a month to read this but already it’s worth every cent. Page after page of pure gorgeousness – gorgeousness that you’ll probably never have the opportunity to see anywhere else. Thanks, Mr Gold!
