    Hmm. I think you’re confusing the Tuskegee Airmen with a different group.

    Wow. You could call this “The Immortal” and cast Chris George in it and make it a TV series, and than James Gunn could write a book, and…

      Uh-huh, I was thinking the same damn thing. Then it could get cancelled after a year and lapse into relative obscurity, and decades later someone could rediscover it and do a remake, updating it to the present day… Not that Burroughs did that here, but the past does influence the present and the future. Even if we don’t see it right off. I’m not the first person to point this out, and I sure as hell won’t be the last, but what one person dreams up, somebody else is gonna figure out a way to build.

      It’s good to see this being done, though. New, independent voices in sf are always welcome. Here’s hoping this is the start of a very long and fruitful career in sf and film.

      Wrong direction. Gunn’s story came first.
