I still think River Song is his “daughter”.

how can she be his daughter, the doctor’s mom was in the end of time, river could be romana that regenerated?

but if im wrong then im sorry.

      • mike weber says:

She was never actually established as his mother.

As to his “daughter”, her name is Jenny – didn’t you see the episode The Doctor’s Daughter?

(BTW – Lalla Ward who played Romana, married Tom Baker. Georgia Moffett, who played Jenny, was (at the time, anyway) David Tennant’s girl friend…)

        • Miles Vorkosigan says:

As well as being Peter Davison’s daughter… so the title “The Doctor’s Daughter” is ironically accurate…

i have watched every episode of the new doctor series when it came back on tv in 2005 and i have read that russell t. davies said that lady that the doctor looked at when she put her hands down in ‘the end of time’ was the doctor’s mom.

    • mike weber says:

But it was not said in the episode. Doesn’t matter what the writers/producers/actors say. What matters is what ends up on the screen.

As i recall, John Byrne or Chris Clairmont once said that Sabretooth was Wolverine’s father.

So far as i can recall, that never officially came to pass in the comic.

Besides, Davies has no say in it anymore, anyway.

Eny way i reckon she is maby amys grate grand daughter maby great(x3/4/5) grandaughter

Well, given the implications that at some point she and the Doctor have a “thing” i hope she’s not his mother.

Jenny wouldn’t be *quite* so “Ick” in that context.

      But only marginally so.
