Glenn is VP of Production at ComicMix. He has written Star Trek and X-Men stories and worked for DC Comics, Simon & Schuster, Random House, arrogant/MGMS and Apple Comics. He's also what happens when a Young Turk of publishing gets old.

    In my short time as a blogger here on comicmix, Alan's been one to support me with his comments. There's little better feeling one has when blogging, than having someone pay attention to you and comment on your articles. Alan will be missed, and my personal sympathies go out to his family.

    I really only knew Alan from his comments here and on Michael Davis World. But from those, you can tell that he was a smart, well read, funny and kind man. I didn't really know him well and now I'm sorry that I won't get the chance.

    I only had a few brief exchanges with Alan, over on Tony Isabella's board. He always seemed good natured, even when we disagreed. My condolences to his family and friends on this sad occasion.
