Tim Gunn talks comics fashion, part 2
Tim Gunn from Project Runway concludes his discussion with us on superhero
fashion as we pass judgment on Superman, Superboy, the Hulk and
others! And what famous comic book character apparently stole one of
Tim’s suits? Find out on the latest installment of Crazy Sexy Geeks!
And be sure to watch the first part!
There is NO way that Tim Gunn (who I think is pretty cool) has read my column on Fashion when Straight no Chaser was on Comicmix. If he did I'm not so sure he would have given the interview or maybe he's so cool he still would have.
I'm going to go out on a limb, Michael, and say you are correct. But if you toss me the link, I'll send it to him. We've become quite friendly and I'm sure he'd be interested to check it out. :-)

Thanks Hollie. I do like Tim Gunn he's one cool down to earth mofo.
The Sandman as a future topic?
The red, blue, and black costume actually DID make its way into print in Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and Alex Ross. In lush, gorgeous painted panels, no less! I mean, the storyline was a non-canon alternate future and the costume was a little bit different (it included a belt and underpants instead of stripes on the abdomen), but still "stunning" I think.
These were tremendous. Thanks so much for putting them together.– MrJM
I think a similar feature on the looks of supervillains would be great. A feature with Tim, and maybe other fashion gurus in a kind of round table discussion, on the looks of female characters could be really interesting. I would love to hear the arguments of fashion vs. function on characters like Wonder Woman and Elektra.
If you do it again, I think you should definitely discuss the looks of supervillains. I'd love to hear his opinions on the many different looks of The Joker. That would be really cool.
