    You know, the reason why no one paid attention to the BBC debut of Doctor Who, "An Unearthly Child," is because it debuted the day Kennedy was assassinated….

    Sorry to be picky, but Doctor Who debuted on November 23.

      Ummm – depending on exactly what time JFK was shot, it may well have been 23 November in the UK – Houston is six hours behind London…

        Well, actually, it couldn't have been late enough for it to be "tomorrow" in the UK, since i first heard about it while at school in South Carolina.However, the "Dr Who"debut would have been, i think, less than twenty-four hours after the shooting…

          Yeah, that's more or less what I meant–the Kennedy assassination meant that no one noticed the debut. Close enough for it to be a conspiracy! :-)
